Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Bloom is an iOS app for AI personal color analysis. You complete a Capture, and Bloom builds your Color Profile — your season, undertone, and a personalized palette. This policy explains what information Bloom collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Bloom app and this website.

2. Information we collect

  • Face photos from your Capture. The face-only photos in your Guided Capture Set, used to generate your Color Profile and to run Color Check.
  • Email and user id. Used to create and authenticate your account.
  • Subscription and entitlement status. Whether you have an active Subscription and what it unlocks.
  • Product analytics. Aggregated, event-level data about how features are used, so we can understand and improve the app.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create your Color Profile, provide Color Check, manage your Subscription, keep the app working, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. How your photos are processed

Your Capture photos are uploaded securely to our servers and processed by third-party AI processors to produce your Color Profile. They are used for that purpose — generating and refining your color reading — and not for advertising.

5. Service providers

We share data with a small set of service providers, each of which processes it only to provide their service to us:

  • Apple. App Store distribution and payments.
  • RevenueCat and Superwall. Subscription and entitlement management.
  • PostHog. Product analytics.
  • Our AI processor. The color analysis that turns your Capture into a Color Profile.

6. Data retention & account deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can delete your account and everything tied to it directly in the app — open Profile → Delete account — which removes your photos, your Color Profile, and your account data from our servers. You can also request deletion by email at any time, and we will remove your data unless we are required to retain it.

7. Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@try-bloom.io, or delete your account yourself in the app under Profile → Delete account. You can manage or cancel your Subscription anytime in your App Store settings.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

9. Children

Bloom is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
